Racing through windows that God opens

In our first weekly devotion, I wanted to share a few thoughts about KingdomWinners.com and why we’ve launched this website (I'll try to be more brief in future devotionals). Two years ago, on a trip to visit parents in North Carolina, my family and I ventured several hours west to meet Morgan and Cindy Shepherd. As a race fan and a Christian, I had become intrigued with Morgan's team and their passion for the Lord, and as a businessperson, I knew that their efforts to compete in the high-priced world of NASCAR were not without significant challenge (hence their name: Faith Motorsports). I also found through my own observations and industry knowledge that this team was grounded and immersed in Biblical principles. Their mission from the start has been simple: honor God, share Jesus, and save souls! And in this fast-paced world, their passion, their focus, and their enthusiasm were contagious!
More than a year later, God made it clear through a number of circumstances, conversations, and people (not to mention prayer) that he was opening a door for me to assist the Faith Motorsports/Racing for Jesus team with their merchandising and marketing functions. Believing that His timing was perfect, and knowing that Revelations 3:7 has a special meaning for all of us, we made the decision to create and launch KingdomWinners.com! We're all called to serve in different ways, and it’s a privilege to serve and support Morgan and the "89" team in this unique way.
